So I have both a bottle of IntraMax multivitamin, and a bottle of Methylcobalamin b-12,  a form of B-12 that insulates nerve fibers and regenerates damaged neurons.  I am starting to supplement with both this products, and today was day one.

I took the IntraMax liquid multivitamin (one ounce) on its own, as it is suggest not to take it with any food or any other supplements, just to drink distiled or purified water at least for two hours after I take it.   the way it is formulated, it can pick up free radicals in the body, so if I where to drink coffee right after my dosage, I would probably feel a surplus caffeine effect.  this would defeat the purpose of the supplement.  The IntraMax tastes pretty good, and when you take it your to hold the liquid under your tounge for the body to absorb it there.  kind of cool that it is absorbed under the tounge, and after 30 seconds, I just swallowed the dosage.   I feel it has really woken me up and I feel pretty good so far.

I will take the B-12 tablet later this afternoon for the first time, it is a cherry flavor, so it should taste good as well!  this is also put under your tounge and once there, it desolves until it is gone.  I will fill you in on how that goes in my next post.

Now that I have cleansed my system, I will get better usage of my supplements, and my body will feel even better!

I just bought a juicer, and I figure I would start posting good ideas for juices here as well, check out this one that was sent to me by a friend:

This tonic recipe is from Lou Corona…Holistic Health Educator. When Lou was 21, he overcame many health challenges (a tumor, arthritis, asthma, severe acne etc) by adopting a vegan and total living foods lifestyle. Lou is now 55…most people think that he is about 30.


LOU’s LEMON GINGER BLAST Yields: One or more servings. Lou drinks it all…every morning!

This natural tonic is Anti-Viral, Anti-Fungal, Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Parasitic, Anti-Mucous, Anti-Fat, Anti-Carcinogenic and Tumor…Plus, it is great for the Heart and Cardiovascular System!

BLENDER INSTRUCTIONS:

 

If you are using a K-Tec or Vita Mix Blender (other blenders will handle it O.K….just cut produce into smaller pieces):

Place in Blender…

1 inch Fresh GINGER…only peel off the bad spots

(work up to the advanced version slowly…which is 5 to 6 inches)
2 LEMONS (peel the yellow part off and cut in half)
3 or 4 Sweet APPLES (peel skin…only if it is not organic and cut into wedges…use the core too)
1/8 tsp *90,000 H.U. CAYENNE PEPPER (work up slowly to advanced version of 1 Tablespoon)
1 ½ -
2 cups of PURIFIED WATER (add enough to make 1 ½ to 2 quarts of the finished product)

Blend the above ingredients (do not over blend…just until everything is barely processed…or you will lose nutrients). Strain with a large strainer or juice bag…and drink the liquid. The reason for getting rid of the fiber is so the “Blast” can go right into the body and start cleansing.

* The spice rack type of CAYENNE PEPPER is only about 20,000 to 40,000 H.U. Start with that…if you already have it in your cupboard. But, when you are out…the 90.000 H.U. is recommended (available at any decent health food or herb store…I try to buy it in bulk). When I use fresh hot peppers (any variety will do) I prefer the red chili pepper or once in a while (when I am in an adventurous mood)…I will use Habaneros. They are really HOT!

JUICE MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Run through the juicer…

GINGER, LEMONS, APPLES.

Then add the WATER and CAYENNE PEPPER.

If you want to use fresh hot peppers…run them through the juicer first. Then juice the other ingredients.

When in season, I substitute WATERMELON or GRAPES for the APPLES. When I use WATERMELON, I do not add any water. If I use GRAPES, then I cut down on the water. My friend Lindsey loves to use GRAPEFRUIT instead of APPLES. I have not tried it yet. On a few occasions, I have used ORANGES in place of the APPLES and the LEMONS.

I try to make sure we drink the “Blast” every morning. When a day or two goes by without it, I notice a major difference in the way I feel (less energy and not as “in tune”)…big time! Sometimes I drink the whole thing. But, most of the time our family shares one or two batches. If I have been exposed to an illness that is “going around” or I feel that a cold or flu is “trying to get me” (like a scratchy throat, sneezing a lot or burning sensation in my nose)…I drink it all day and nothing else except lots of purified water. Then I don’t get sick!

My parasite cleanse - Week six - Final

I have finally completed this cleanse!  It was a long time to do it, but I am glad I got it accomplished.  I did not see a parasite that was visible to the eye, but I do have to say I feel pretty good, not just from the cleanse, but from my accomplishment as well.  I did see that i had some stomach pain that would pass quickly, don’t know that it had anything to do with this cleanse, but it did happen 2-3 times in the beginning.   Now that I am done with this cleanse I am going to continue with my Oxy-Powder cleanse as a maintenance dosage, and I am going to start supplementing.  I may revisit these cleanses one or twice a year to maintain my cleanse.

Diet Sodas Help You Gain Weight

If you thought you could get a quick jump on your weight loss program merely by substituting “soft” drinks with their sugar-free — meaning their artifically and toxically sweetened — diet counterparts, guess again. A new study by researchers at the University of Texas San Antonio suggests baby boomers who drink diet soft drinks in an effort to dodge extra calories may be dramatically increasing their risks of gaining weight later on.

The study monitored the weight and soda-drinking habits of more than 600 patients ages 25-64. Of that total, almost a third of all the participants became obese or overweight when researchers followed up some eight years later, and about 57 percent of them drank two or more diet soft drinks every day.

Drinking just one diet soda a day increased a patient’s odds of becoming overweight by 65 percent, and two or more low- or no-calorie drinks raised those odds even higher. In fact, those who drank non-diet sodas had a lesser risk of gaining weight than those who consumed diet drinks! Why do no-cal drinks sabotage your health, aside from the harmful chemicals? One suggestion made sense to me: People use diet sodas as means to justify making even more poor food choices, laden with boatloads of calories, chemicals and unhealthy fats.

This makes great sense to me, particularly in light of another study I posted today that found soft drinks to be the leading source of calories in the average American diet.

Why Is It Important to Go to Bed Early

Q: I want to be a morning person!, but have always fought my body that wants to go to bed late and get up late, and get about 10 hrs sleep. If I go to bed earlier, I seem to need more. Morning is when sleep feels the best, and arising early hurts, and hard it’s to function, but at night I am fresh and ready for a project.

A:  Ideally, a person should sleep during the hours of darkness and wake up naturally when the sun rises.  The further you move into the Northern Hemisphere the more difficult that plan becomes, of course.

There have been many studies completed that show that sleeping before midnight is very important.  Sleeping during the hours before midnight are twice as important as the number of hours after midnight, due to the synchronizing of the meridians of the body and various organ systems.

Sleeping less than 6-8 hrs will create problems with your insulin levels.  Try to sleep in complete darkness, as any light will disrupt your sleep.

Too Little Sleep May Accelerate Aging

Regularly catching only a few hours of sleep can hinder metabolism and hormone production in a way that is similar to the effects of aging and the early stages of diabetes. Chronic sleep loss may speed the onset or increase the severity of age-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and memory loss. The researchers showed that just one week of sleep deprivation altered subjectís hormone levels and their capacity to metabolize carbohydrates. People who trade sleep for work or play may get used to it and feel less fatigued.

During sleep-deprivation, the researchers found, the men’s blood sugar levels took 40% longer to drop following a high-carbohydrate meal, compared with the sleep-recovery period. Their ability to secrete and respond to the hormone insulin, which helps regulate blood sugar, dropped by 30%. These changes echo the effects of insulin resistance, a precursor to type 2 diabetes. In addition, the sleep-deprived men had higher nighttime concentrations of the hormone cortisol, which also helps regulate blood sugar, and lower levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone. These raised cortisol levels mimic levels that are often seen in older people, and may be involved in age-related insulin resistance and memory loss.

Sleep debts are sort of like stress. Most sleep-deprivation research has focused on what it does to the brain, but it is likely that sleep has many functions.Ý In the study, subjects’ blood sugar and hormone concentrations were restored after the sleep-recovery period. Earlier research has shown that in developed countries, the average night’s sleep has grown shorter since the beginning of the century, from 9 hours to 7.5 hours. Many people give up sleep to make room for work and leisure. An adequate amount of sleep is as important as an adequate amount of exercise. Sleeping is not a sin.

Stop cooking your food! Raw food does not mean boring salads!

Even if you eat right and exercise, your body is toxic. Plastic containers, carpeting, paint, cars, upholstery, computers etc give off fumes. I’m not saying to live without them- but you need to keep flushing your body clean regularly. After flushing out years of bad living, stop sugar, milk, cheese, anything made with flour, pills/meds and stop cooking(killing) your food. Is cheese found in nature? No! It clogs up your digestive system so bad you might as well drink glue. Cut dairy and breads out and say goodbye to allergies. Don’t drink tap water. Chlorine and flouride are poisons. This stuff is so basic- come on. This isn’t rocket science. We just don’t want to think about it. Fine- get old and die by 80- your choice ! Usually problems start showing up around 40. Let that be a wake up call !

Raw food does not mean boring salads! I make a raw chocolate that you would kill for. Since it’s raw, you can eat it all day and even LOSE WEIGHT while eating it- it’s that good for you! I put some link suggestions below to get you started. On following pages I get into more detail about what to eat, why sunlight is good (not bad) for you and what toxic things to avoid. It’s easy, it’s simple and it works. The only hard part is getting away from your food addictions. True health is your most important choice.

If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and those wrinkles or gut are starting to scare you, then you have to change the way you are living. IT’S THAT SIMPLE ! And it doesn’t cost extra money. No trips to any expensive professionals. This is simply getting back to the way nature intended. It will be hard to work your way off the sodas and breads and pastries and pizza etc. But boy will you be surprised if you do! I have seen incredible things happen. Things I can’t legally mention. Amazing things.

So I got the order I placed for the B-12 and the Intramax multivitamin.  I am really anxious to try both out, and to see what comes of it.  I have read a lot about supplementing with a multivitamin, and it is mu understanding that it is ideal to cleanse your system before taking any supplement in order to get maximum usage of it.  I am on the last week of my parasite cleanse, so I am looking forward to using these products some time next week.  intresting information:
