Omega 3: A Possible Treatment for Depression (press release)

With kids as young as 3 years old being given medications for depression, and as old as 95, what’s the real truth in this rush to label each other, ourselves, and the entire planet as “depressed”?

In a study conducted by the Yale Prevention Research Center in Derby, CT, in 2005, it was stated that, “Major depression is the leading cause of disability world wide, and among the 10 most frequent indications for using alternative medicine therapies, especially dietary supplements.”

Fast forward a year to October 2006, and it appears that the problem of depression is still on the rise, apparently the answer for anything from a couple of bad days at the office, to those who are truly suffering from the crippling effects of depression.

With kids as young as 3 years old being given medications for depression, and as old as 95, what’s the real truth in this rush to label each other, ourselves, and the entire planet as “depressed”?

Truth be known, this is probably not your first choice, in terms of clubs you’d like to join. But as with all forms of advertising, both good and bad, all types of word of mouth, and anything purporting to be “news”, it seems as though it’s getting harder and harder not to get swept up into the frenzied, yet “fashionable” answer that “depression” is what is ruining your life.

This is not to make light of those who do suffer from actual depression, and the claw like effects it can have on a person’s life. The effects of depression are real and can be devastating, paralyzing and long term.

But here’s the question. Is Earth really a planet filled with depressed people, or is it more accurately a planet that is suffering from cellular nutritional deficiencies that could be remedied with Omega 3 fatty acids.

Is it possible, as numerous studies have concluded, that a treatment program consisting of significant levels of EPA, as found in Omega 3 fish oils, could actually bring about significant change for the better, and remedy depression by at least 50%?

Little known by the general public is that all of the numerous studies that have been conducted in the arena of Omega 3 fatty acids, and their efficacy in treating depression, bi-polar disorder, and other medical illnesses have been positive. These studies have either cited the need for, and validity of doing further studies, and / or have shown significant reduction of depression in both children and adults.

All of this might come as little surprise to author James L. Harper, who’s book “The Road Back- How to Get off Drugs Safely, has, since 1999, supported individuals coming off psychiatric medication by using the highest quality of EPA Omega 3 fatty acids available in the market, along with other nutritional therapies.

The individuals, who have chosen to use Mr. Harper’s gradient withdrawal methods and cellular nutritional programs, have also worked in conjunction with their primary physicians in order to taper off their medications.

As evidenced by his book, he has helped thousands, with supporting testimonials, as to the effectiveness of his program.

Oxy-Powder maintance

June 26th, 2007

I have been taking a maintenance dosage for atleast 2 months now, I continually see that my movement is going from a brown to a black.  It is more of a brown for the most part, but I take it like the Oxy-Powder is chipping away at the compaction in my system.  I feel great, my vision has really cleared up, and I am able to concentrate more now than I have ever before.  O am completely satisfied with the cleanse I have done up to date, and I will continue to cleanse until I do not see any more black coming out of my system.   I have to say, I have taken a few days off when I moved to my new place, and for the first day I felt no need to go, but it quickly changed the next day.

“Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

- Dale Carnegie

To be concerned with your change, rather than focus on his change or her change, the battle starts with you. Take a moment to help yourself today, your character deserves it!
