My diet - day 6

April 25th, 2007

” There is no life without YOU! Take away YOU and there is no life. To appreciate life, you must appreciate yourself.”
— Written in 2007 by Kenneth Nnabo — Nigeria

My diet has been great during the week, I have been doing well the past two weeks anyway. I have decided that I am going to start posting some reciepes on here in hopes that some one will use them. Keep an eye out for recipes soon!

Breakfast - 9:00AM

1 small bowl of flax seed oat meal ( I used agave nectar as a sugar sub.)

1 banana

1 20 oz glass of water

snack - 10:45

1 handful of Banana chips

Lunch - 1:12PM

I didn’t eat, I wasn’t hungry at all

20 oz of water

Dinner - 8:00PM

2 cups of roasted potatoes

1 whole artichoke

1 small salad (with ranch dressing)

32 oz of water

The further I get into this diet the more I am seeing that it is easier for me to eat less and not have such a huge issue with it. at first I was really wanting meat and all the old stuff I am not eating any more, now my body has gotten more use to the idea and I think it is starting to like it. I am combining the diet with the cleanse with Oxy-Powder, and I feel the best I have ever felt!

Liver/Gallbladder flush - Day 1

April 25th, 2007

So yesterday was day one of my Liver/Gallbladder flush with Super Phos 30,  I mixed 90 drops of Super Phos 30, with a gallon of apple juice.  once this is mixed, I pour my 32 oz for the day into a pre measured container (I bought one just for this cleanse) .  I basically drank it through out the day, with no problems.  It really is just like drinking apple juice, although the organic kind tastes better to me.   So far so good,  They say to brush your teeth after drinking the concoction, I just brush as I normally do with no issues or problems.  Day one, was easy!

Oxy-Powder

April 24th, 2007

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Howard Thurman

I have been throughly impressed with Oxy-Powder, it has worked well, and I feel great! at first I was a little squeamish about my movements being all water, but I found that it wasn’t so bad. I have been able to modify my dosage to fit my needs and I am taking my maintenance dosage during the day. I started this last weekend because I thought I might be able to make this more comfortable for myself, it worked! I have a dosage of 10 capsules, I split this up to 2, 30 minutes before each meal, and the remaining 4 I take at night. This has allowed me to have a movement through out my day rather than all in the morning. So far so good! I have to say, Oxy-Powder really made me open my eyes, if I cleansed this part of my body and had this good of results, what would happen if I cleanse the rest of my system out. Please keep an eye open for my liver/gallbladder cleanse, this is my next task, and I plan on sharing it with you. I will update periodically about my cleanse and keep you posted. I did see that my movement started to change color, it is starting to get darker, a good sign I am really getting to the compaction in my system. it has taken a few weeks, but I am slowly seeing this change.

My Diet - Day five - The weekend

April 23rd, 2007

“People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.”

St. Augustine, 354 430

My diet this weekend was not good at all, be it that I was out of the house most of it.  I wend to a show on Saturday, and was busy most of Sunday.  My lack of effort shows with what I ate.

Liver flush on Tuesday.

April 23rd, 2007

I have decided, after some research on the liver gallbladder flush, that I am going to start this Tuesday.  Apparently the cleanse is a five day process, and the fifth day can be the most difficult, so it is suggested that you start this cleanse on a Tuesday so your dealing with the difficult day on the weekend.   None the less, I am a little stand offish, as with the last cleanse, I am not sure what to expect.   For the first four days I am drinking 32 oz of apple juice daily, I am prepared for this, and have bought a 32 oz container to mix my daily concoction of apple juice and SuperPhos 30.  Once I finish the 4 days of juicing, the final day I flush and rid my body from stones and cleanse my liver.  The way I understand this to work,  is you drink the apple juice/ SuperPhos 30 concoction for the four days, to loosen the stones, all the while trying to stay low fat.  on the fifth day of the cleanse the protocol asks that you drink olive oil,  this tells your liver to produce bile in the gallbladder and the bile will actually PUSH OUT the stones and cleanse the liver.  It sounds really intresting, and I am wondering if this cleanse is going to be difficult or not.

Wish me luck!

My Diet - Day four

April 20th, 2007

                                                               fruit.jpg

My diet is changing! now that I have been writing about it I suppose I have been more responsable with the foods I eat.  Lets see what the diet was yesterday….

Breakfast 9:20AM

1 Grapefruit (used Agave nectar to sweeten it up)

1  16 oz cup of coffee

1 16 oz cup of water

Lunch 1:00PM

I wasn’t feeling well at lunch time, my stomach was upset, so I skipped my lunch.

Snack 3:30PM

I handful of granola

1 20 oz glass of water

Dinner 8:00PM

1 1/2 Bowls of bean soup with a little pasta mixed in

1 apple

1 20 oz glass of water

My stomach felt a little upset during lunch, not sure why, but in the evening it  cleared up and I felt hungry.   I feel that since I am eating differently, and eating less meat, I have even more energy.  Cleansing along with my diet has helped allot, and I feel like a totally different person.

Day 10 - Maintenance

April 20th, 2007

Good morning, It is Friday, and I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! I actually have much to do this weekend, so I hope to have allot of fun with friends and family.

I took my maintenance dosage of 10 Oxy-Powder, through out the day yesterday. I found that this allowed me to have a movement through out the day, rather than the huge movement in the morning. This is comforting to me, as I was tired of the morning movement. I am still having 4 movements and am regular, I feel clean inside and I am feeling very strong. I cant really say why I feel this way, I just do, but I am ok with it because I feel GREAT! My movement is still the same color, and it is still watery. All in all everything is going well with the cleanse, and in life. I have moved the seven day initial cleanse into the “7 day colon cleanse” category, so if you are looking for it, please look there.

Are antidepressant drugs an accomplice in the Virginia Tech shootings?

April 19th, 2007

The Chicago Tribune reports that Cho Seung Hui, the Virginia Tech shooter who killed 32 fellow students in a shooting rampage, was taking antidepressant drugs. This is not the first time a school shooting rampage has been linked to antidepressants. The infamous Colombine High shootings took place almost exactly eight years ago, and the shooters in that rampage were also — you guessed it — taking antidepressant drugs.

What is it about antidepressant drugs that provokes young men to pick up pistols, rifles and shotguns, then violently assault their classmates? Clearly, there’s something wrong with the mind of anyone who engages in such violent acts. Could the drugs be “imbalancing” their minds, priming them for violence?

The answer is a very sobering, “Yes, they could be.” As we reported in a previous NewsTarget article on Paxil:

Researchers from Cardiff University in Britain and the Cochrane Centre examined data on Paxil — or its generic form, paroxetine — from GlaxoSmithKline, legal cases and emails from nearly 1,400 patients who responded to a British TV program on antidepressants. The researchers found that 60 out of 9,219 people taking Paxil — 0.65 percent — experienced a “hostility event,” compared to 20 out of 6,455 patients taking placebo, or 0.31 percent.

In that same article, published in September, 2006, I stated, “This finding helps explain why school shootings are almost always conducted by children who are taking antidepressants. We also know that SSRIs cause children to disconnect from reality. When you combine that with a propensity for violence, you create a dangerous recipe for school shootings and other adolescent violence.”

Sadly, that explanation rings true once again with the Virginia Tech shooting. Wherever we see school violence, antidepressant drugs seem to found at the scene of the crime. The correlation is not coincidence. There is a causal link between the two.

This is one reason cleansing is good for you, it gets all the toxins from these types of drugs, out of your body!

My diet - Day three

April 19th, 2007

good_morning_grenada.jpg

Good morning!  I woke up feeling a little tired today, I did go to bed a little late last night.  So lets see the break down of my diet yesterday.

 Breakfast  9:50AM

1 apple (organic)

1 handful of granola

1 16 oz glass of water

 Snack   11:30AM

1 Banana

 Lunch 1:00PM

Carrots w/ ranch dip (I ate these until I was full)

1 32 oz glass of water

Dinner 7:45PM

1 bowl of potato soup

5 small cubes of cheddar cheese

5 crackers

1   20 oz glass of water

Seems like it has become easier to eat less, I am making sure I eat breakfast where I normally would not, and I am also having a snack in the morning as well.  I have found that I need to use the Oxy-Powder less often because of this change, which is good!   So far I have lost 2 pounds eating this way, and it has only been three days.

” Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential.”
Winston Churchill

Yesterday I was a little better on my diet, it felt good to eat well to! here is what I ate:

Breakfast - 9:30AM

1 Banana

1 cup of mixed nuts

1 16 oz glass of water

Snack - 11:20AM

1 Handful of granola

Lunch - 2:00PM

2  Fajitas, with beef, rice, and beans (I didn’t use the sour cream or the guacamole)

1  32 oz of water

1 After dinner mint

Dinner - 7:45

1 large salad, with tomatoes, and guacamole

1/4 cup of blue cheese dressing

1 16 oz glass of water

1 small slice of raisin bread (for desert)

The only thing I would really want to change about this is to eat my dinner sooner, so I can really get good digestion before I go to bed.   Today wasn’t so bad, however, I must keep up the positive energy and continuous effort.
