Hi Daniel I enjoyed reading your detox diary it was inspirational and like to congratulate you for succesfully completing it. I myself began the Oxy Powder colon cleanse 2 days ago looking forward to the end result. What will be helpful is to know what kind of a diet did you stick to whilst detoxing? I need to know what to eat and when to eat it.

    Cheers mate.

    Erdem,
Hi, I hope your doing well! First I would like to thank you for visiting my page, your support is appreciated!
My diet has really not been the best since I started cleansing, I do eat fast food and junk food as well. I have started to change my diet to a more all natural pallet, but this is few and far between. I couldnt really tell you what to eat, you may want to speak to a nutritionist about that aspect.

you can also try this site :
    http://www.chatelaine.com/english/food/article.jsp?content=20060608_094757_5684

Go to the bottom of the page and opt for the daily menu option. I know this site isn’t all natural, but it is a better idea as to what you can do for your diet with out going to an nutritionist. I hope this helps, please come back soon and tell me how your doing!

It seems that during the summer months i’m more prone to getting white spotty like patches on my skin. Do you know what may cause this? Or possibly suggestions to prevent it?

    Vitiligo?
Vitiligo is a common condition that affect 1-2% of people worldwide. It is usually visible as a patch of white skin without pigment. The cells that would normally produce the skin’s pigment, are destroyed by the vitiligo. There is no know cause of vitiligo, but it is more common with people who have certain autoimmune diseases. The autoimmune diseases are: hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid gland), adrenocortical insufficiency (when the adrenal gland does not produce enough of the hormone cortiscosteroid), alopecia areata (patches of baldness), and pernicious anemia (a failure to absorb vitamin B12 which is caused by a low level of red blood cells). Vitiligo is also common within families, although not completely hereditary. A doctor may diagnose vitiligo by researching one’s family history, taking blood tests, and taking a small sample of the skin.

    Tinea Versicolor
This fungus infection of the skin commonly affects young people and is visible on the chest, back, upper arms, and legs. The fungus produces spots which are either lighter than the skin surrounding it, or a reddish brown color. The fungus may become more visible because of high humidity and immune or hormone abnormalities. I guess “high humidity” is where New Jersey fits in. Tinea Versicolor is very common and is not contagious. It can be treated using anti fungal agents, shampoo, or pills prescribed by a doctor. Over the counter anti fungal medications include clotrimazole and miconazole, which should be applied twice a day for 10-15 days. Unfortunately these anti fungal remedies often come in small tubes and are hard to apply to large areas. An easier, more common treatment is shampoo containing selenium sulfide. Selsun Blue contains 1%. I checked out the store brands, and they contained a bit more. These should be applied to the scalp and also the skin. The easiest solution is obviously prescription medication provided by your doctor. Unfortunately some of us still survive without medical insurance.

Thanks for your email reply. Decided to stop being a baby and took 7 Oxypowder tablets. Not nearly as “bad” as I imagined. Was helpful reading your blog. I also had the “uh is/was that a movement?” moment(s). Well as it is Friday will up the anti and take 10 tonight. Want to have this done & dusted before our camping trip.
U have inspired me to contemplate the liver gallbladder cleanse. My Dad had of colon cancer and kidney failure following a colostomy sucked the life out of him. Owe it to myself & son to be healthier. Off to read your other tags. Keep Healthy, Jenny

    Hi Daniel,

I found your blog very informative and helpful. I noticed you had been anxious about starting the cleanse, that’s about where I am but feel I probably need to do it as I’m sure there are plenty of toxins to get rid of. I’ve also had back issues for years and it seems that the detox may even improve that which would be a great side benefit. I am also one who has too much junk food in my diet and would like to cut down but sometimes it is a challenge especially with limited time. Anyway I appreciate your talking with me and letting me know about your blog–definitely worth while! Thanks!

I have a question about hair loss.
I am 59 and in the last year I have noticed that on my legs the hair is gone on the outside of my left thigh and the outside of my right calf.
I wear loose clothing and am sure that it is not from being rubbed off.
At each folical there is a small white crystal like rock that can be scratched away and observed.
The skin is not irritated and appears normal.
Could this be accumulated cholesterol or maybe a dead filical?
I am a cleanser from way back and I agree with
    your concepts.
    Thanks
    Glenn

    Glenn,
Thank you for your question, I will do my best to help you! I am not completely sure that I know what this is, I would have though that it was excema, but you have stated that it wasn’t irritated. You could try one of two things,

    1. Try to put some 02-Zap on the issue area, this is highly ozonated olive oil, and the oxygen will help in healing the affected area. I have seen great results with this for many skin conditions, cuts, blemishes, good stuff to have!

    2. See your physicians or practitioner for a more detailed analysis of your symptoms.

    3. You could always venture back to cleansing, and this would probably be a great idea as well.

I hope this helps you, and if you need to find the 02-zap, you can find it here:

Good luck to you, and thank you for visiting my page!

    Hello Daniel,
I loved your site! I have been doing a nutritional cleanse program for 9 months now and it has been life changing. My husband, sisters and some friends have also experienced much improved health. Prior to this, I had not idea what I was doing to myself. Do you prefer one specific program to another> Thanks! Susan
